On realizing that his little sister was very disappointed for not being able to go to see her grandfather’s play due to the law-and-order situation in Assam, her brother offers to enact a play with the support of his best friend- a play that leads to a terrible tragedy. Years later when the brother, now an accomplished film maker, returns to his native village on hearing the news of the death of his best friend who was gunned down by the police as a dreaded terrorist, he is stunned to find out that the death of his friend was linked to that fateful day the play was enacted in their innocent childhood.
